  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 lb egg noodles
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 10.5 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 cup butter crackers crushed
  • 0.25 cup butter melted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, drained noodles, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the top.
  • In a small bowl, combine crushed butter crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole is delicious served with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
