  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.33 cup pine nuts toasted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • In a food processor, combine the spinach, basil, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, and garlic.
  • Pulse until everything is finely chopped.
  • With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the pesto is smooth and well combined.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
