Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large saucepan, melt butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 250°F (121°C) on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Arrange saltines in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the saltines.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool completely before breaking into pieces. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled toffee.
Notes
