Instructions
Preparation Steps
Rinse the wild rice under cold water.
Combine the wild rice and chicken broth in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
While the rice is cooking, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the pecans and cook until lightly toasted.
Once the rice is cooked, stir in the toasted pecans, salt, and pepper.
Serve warm.
