Preparation Steps
Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the peanut butter until well combined.
Add the Rice Krispie cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until evenly coated.
Press the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, dividing it evenly among the 12 cups.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Alternatively, melt over a double boiler.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of each Rice Krispie cup.
Let the cups set at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
Carefully remove the cups from the muffin tin.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
