Instructions
Preparation Steps
Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. You can use a food processor or place them in a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
In a medium bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix until well combined and a dough-like consistency forms.
Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Melt the white chocolate. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, or in a double boiler.
Dip each Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out and let any excess chocolate drip off.
Place the coated truffles back on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
Optional: Decorate with sprinkles or a drizzle of melted dark chocolate before the white chocolate sets completely.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
