For the Crust

  • 2.5 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping, thawed

  • chopped peanuts

Preparation Steps

  • Combine crushed cookies and melted butter. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  • Spoon the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  • Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped peanuts, if desired, before serving.

Notes

This pie is best served cold. You can make it a day in advance.
