Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add salt and flour; mix until a soft dough forms. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
In a bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Punch down dough and roll it into a 1-inch thick rope. Cut the rope into 1-inch pieces.
Roll each dough piece in the cinnamon-sugar mixture and place it in the bundt pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
Notes
Serve warm with a cup of coffee or tea.
