Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
