Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Stir in orzo, chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until orzo is cooked through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
