Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Gently fold in the diced apples.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, and fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Remove the fritters from the skillet and place them on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
These fritters are best served fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
