- 4 cups water

- 1 cup long grain rice

Preparation Steps
Rinse the red beans and soak them in water overnight.
Drain the beans and place them in a pot with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, or until tender.
