  • 1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1.75 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place on prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
