  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel and thinly slice potatoes.
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add potatoes, milk, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  • Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  • Pour potato mixture into a greased casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of paprika or garlic powder before baking.
