Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Peel and cube the butternut squash. Sauté the onion until softened.
Brown the sausage in a skillet, then add the squash, apples, onion, and sage. Cook until slightly softened.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the squash is tender.
