Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir well.
Add the fresh blueberries, sliced orange, and sliced lime to the pitcher.
Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Just before serving, pour in the chilled lemon-lime soda and stir gently.
Serve the sangria over ice, garnishing with extra blueberries and fruit slices if desired.
Notes
For a sweeter sangria, you can add a tablespoon or two of simple syrup. This recipe can also be made with white wine or rosé.
