Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Stir in the rolled oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until just combined.
If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
