Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Boil the potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
In a large bowl, mash the potatoes. Add sour cream, milk, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, butter, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
This recipe can be made ahead of time and baked when ready to serve. Garnish with extra bacon and chives, if desired.
